Biosecurity New Zealand is consulting on a proposed new Health, Safety and Wellbeing Guidance Document for the Standard for Transitional Facilities for General Uncleared Risk Goods (TFGEN-GD-HSW), and proposed changes to guidance information within the Standard for Transitional Facilities for General Uncleared Risk Goods (TFGEN Standard).
Biosecurity New Zealand are proposing to:
- Issue a new health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) guidance document to be read alongside the TFGEN Standard and the existing TFGEN guidance document
- Update the TFGEN Standard to include health and safety guidance information relating to biosecurity requirements and practices of TFGEN; and references to the HSW guidance document.
There are no planned changes to the requirements within the TFGEN standard, or to the scope of TF audits or verifications.
